What kind of translation do you do?I will provide timely, professional services in any area of translation. In the past I have mainly worked on medical, health, nutritional and educational texts, but I am happy to provide translations in all fields. I have recently gained experience in the translation of legal documents such as power of attorney. My services include translation, proofreading/editing and providing corporate and general English training.

What languages do you speak?English is my mother tongue, and my language of habitual use. I translate from Spanish, French and Italian into English. I also speak a range of other languages such as Dutch, Mandarin Chinese and Swahili but I do not use these professionally.

Who do you work with?I work with a variety of clients from all over the world, both agencies and direct clients. I love to have variety in my work, from private individuals to large companies. I am particularly interested in working with many different cultures. I have worked with clients from many countries, including China, Italy, the Netherlands, the United States, Brazil, Germany, Russia and Spain.

What are your qualifications?I am a fully qualified translator and trainer of English as a foreign language. My qualifications include: BA (Hons) in English Literature MA (Hons) in Translation, Merit Cambridge CELTA in Teaching English as a foreign language Diploma in Proofreading and Editing

I have been working full-time since 2007 and in that time I have worked with many people with different cultural backgrounds and communication styles. This means I am highly adaptable and flexible. How much do your services cost?Every project and client is unique. I will always provide you with a free, no-obligation quote. Your project will be individually quoted depending on the length, complexity, turnaround time, format and sector. My services are available on a wide range of freelance options to suit you, ranging from one-off lessons, translations or editing jobs to long-term, lengthy collaborations. I would be delighted to recieve an enquiry from you relating to potential collaboration.

Could you give me details about how the process works?when you get in touch with me I will need to know: -who you are and what your aims are - if translating/editing the content (Excel/PowerPoint/Word document with details of the target audience) -if teaching - why you are learning English -Deadline I will then provide you with a quote, and if it is written services, the proposed completion date and the deadline. I will need your written confirmation that you accept my terms of service. I will get in touch with you if I have questions during the time I am working with you. For translations/proofreading/editing your document will be sent to you in the agreed format by the agreed date, alongside your invoice. My terms of payment are 30 days from the date of the invoice, and I accept payment by banks transfers (preferred) or by PayPal. If you have other questions, please let me know.
